Job Search

Anyone that's ever tried to find a new job while still employed goes through the same thing it seems. Everyone I talk to has the same stories. Apply for fifteen gazillion jobs, hear back from 2-3 out of the gazillions, go to the interview, and likely not even hear about it again. Well I haven't got past the application process but even it is rearing it's ugly head. I got contacted today by a company wanting to set up an interview and I can't even remember what position it was I applied for. Needless to say I made a jackass out of myself by emailing the guy back asking what the positions responsibilities were (should already know from the ad). Hopefully that didn't do too much damage on my behalf.

It's really not that I don't like the job I have now, but I just don't feel like the current position is leading anywhere. I sit in an office with little to no interaction on a daily basis, and no opportunity to better myself which is becoming quite painful. I'd atleast like to be doing some professional development type stuff but NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Conspiracy

Have you ever really looked around on the internet for the crazy people? You really shouldn't have to look too far, because there are TONS of them out there. All you have to do is visit some sites like ATS (Above Top Secret) and you'll think the little green men are always right behind you in no time. There are people who believe that there's a rogue planet out there that's headed for us. Do a search for "Planet X" or "Nibiru" sometime, and you'll get an idea of the lunacy.

This is where I intend to spout off about anything and everything on my mind. If you enjoy it let me know, and the same goes for if you don't like it. This is an avenue for me to release what's weighing on my mind, and if it entertains other that's just icing on the cake.
